My Wilted BouquetI thought of you the other day.My Wilted Bouquet
I had found some sunflower seeds that day. I placed them in the soil, And watered them with care.
Every day, I came home just see them, To watch them grow up, To grow with me by their side.
And I enjoyed every day we spent together, With me coaxing the shoots to show, And persuading the buds that it was okay to blossom, That they would be accepted and loved.
I watered the flowers every day, Loving them for what they were, Nothing more and nothing less.
